The Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) of the Ladoke Akintola University, (LAUTECH) Ogbomosho, Nigeria, welcomes you to its website. The IQA unit of the LAUTECH community started as a committee in December 2014 in response to the National University Commission (NUC) directives and became a directorate in October 2016. In consonance with the NUC quality assurance guidelines, the main goal of the directorate is to improve the process, efficiency, and productivity of each unit in the university based on committee system. Prof, B. A. Akinwande was the first Director of LAUTECH IQA between 2016 and 2019 followed by Prof M. O. Jelili from 2019 to 2021. Prof O. A. Ajala became the Director in 2021 and handed over to the current Director in 2023.
The IQA works to complement the efforts of the LAUTECH management headed by the Vice Chancellor through regular monitoring, evaluation and promotion of quality teaching, research, administration, and community development to ensure strict compliance with world-class university standard operating procedures. Once again, I welcome you to LAUTECH where quality has no alternative.
